Locate your agreement first

Anytime Fitness's U.S. FAQ says cancellation methods, costs and possible termination fees are specified in each location's membership agreement. Independently operated clubs can have different terms. There is no single nationwide fee or notice deadline established by that FAQ.

Contact your home club

Ask your club for the cancellation procedure attached to your membership, the end of any minimum term and the notice required. If you cannot find your contract, request a copy. Tell the club whether you are ending the membership entirely or asking about a temporary pause; the FAQ directs freeze questions to the home club as well.

Get an exact final date

Our recommendation is to request a written breakdown of the last payment and any termination amount. A verbal estimate can be difficult to reconcile later. Save your submitted request, its receipt date and the club's confirmation together.

  • Identify the home club named on your agreement.
  • Ask which submission channel your contract accepts.
  • Confirm whether renewal or a minimum term affects your end date.
  • Review the next statement against the confirmed final balance.
